No wonder everyone in the public eye puts their hand over their mouth in case something inappropriate slips out, that can be spotted from a quarter of a mile away.

Re: is there anyone on here proficient in sign language?
There was a British surrealist painter called Roland Penrose who back in the 1930's submitted a painting to the open summer exhibition at The Royal Academy in Piccadilly.

In the aforementioned painting in very small font the word "arse" was written in the bottom left hand corner of the canvas.

The management rejected the painting on grounds of indecency. Miffed at being rejected despite being considered an artist of notable reputation at the time Penrose then submitted a strange surreal-like painting of a series of contorted hands in mid air over a landscape which was accepted for display.

It was only much later when the exhibition was nearing the end of it's run that a visitor pointed out to the management that the hand gestures spelt out the word "cunts" in sign language...

There is one on BBC 4 , why are they not in a box in the corner of the screen rather than occupying 40% of the screen. When I am watching on my PC I place a book over them to prevent any arm flapping distraction

Re: is there anyone on here proficient in sign language?
Years ago I walked into a pub in Waterloo, there were at least 200 deaf people in there. Arms and hands flaying about everywhere, all shouting incoherent gibberish at each other for the benefit of the lip readers.

Noisy deaf cunts. Not a chance of a quiet pint when they are about.
